Mathematics CTS Supplement Search
CTS maintains a supplementary database of resources.The resources are content specific and can be used to supplement a specific CTS topic. For example, if you are a teacher conducting an individual study or you are designing a CTS for professional development on the topic of graphing, you might search for an article in the supplementary database to enhance your study. By selecting Data Analysis under "Category"; Bar Graphs, Histograms, and Line Graphs under "CTS Topic", and Journal Article"under "Resource Type" and then clicking the "Apply" button, you will come across the webbased article,Making Sense of Graphs: Critical Factors Influencing Comprehension and Instructional Implications published in the Journal for Research in Mathematics Education. Clicking on the title of the resource will then give you the full description of how it can be used with CTS. Each time a new mathematics supplement is posted, it will appear in the Mathematics Supplement box on the CTS home page.
